Rockwood/Mt Kineo State Park

On the road to Rockwood heading south towards Greenville, ME

The Flying Moose can be seen roadside along the way.

This view of Rockwood can be seen on your left as you head south.

Mount Kineo State Park is about a 10 minute boat ride from the public dock in Rockwood.

Looking in the opposite direction from the Mt Kineo parking lot; no matter which way I looked, the views were spectacular!

A parting view of Mt Kineo So, on this day, there were no shuttle rides to the park; visitors to the park during the open season may enjoy the adventure of the boat ride to the park, and maybe even hiking up the easy trail. When you’re out for that Sunday drive, head to Rockwood and take a look at Mt Kineo! Mt.Kineo!
